Who We Are

PikMyKid is a fully-funded education technology company based in Tampa, Florida and the gold standard in school dismissal software. Our team is made up of high-performing, driven individuals with a vested interest in our company’s success. We’re looking to add an experienced content marketer to our team as we navigate the next phase of growth as a company.

Overview

This role will be responsible for the strategy, creation, and deployment of content across marketing channels. We’re looking for a content jack of all trades who’s comfortable moving between content types and teams to help tell the PikMyKid story.

Who You Are

  • Results-focused content marketer with 4-6 years experience (you believe content can be measured and optimized to drive real business results!)
  • Expertly juggles different content formats, from long form SEO,  to social media, email marketing, ad copy, and more
  • Has a track record of owning projects from strategy to execution, including delegation and reporting on results (action-oriented)
  • Excellent communicator who can work cross-functionally with members of our marketing, sales, and customer success teams
  • An eye for design (even if you can’t design yourself, you can get a freelancer across the finish line with meaningful edits)
  • Energized by growth-stage companies – you want to get your hands dirty and have an impact on our long-term strategy as a marketing team and company


Job Responsibilities 

  • Work directly with the Director of marketing to create a content strategy that pushes our brand as a market leader and contributes to our sales pipeline
  • Deliver compelling content for prospects and customers, including emails, website landing pages, blog, social media posts, case studies, and thought leadership pieces
  • Continue to grow organic search as our primary marketing channel through SEO best practices, new content, and site optimization
  • Proofread and edit content created by other teams across the company
  • Help us craft and uphold the PikMyKid voice, style, and brand across internal and external marketing efforts

Requirements

  • High performer with at least 4 years of marketing experience
  • Background in SaaS, Edtech, or B2B preferred
  • Proficient with industry-standard marketing tools, including WordPress, Google Analytics, Search Console, social media platforms, and email marketing tools
  • Knowledge of SEO and conversion rate optimization
  • Design skills or freelancer management experience a big plus
