Summary

The marketing strategist role will be responsible for setting specific objectives to develop a cohesive and profitable marketing strategy for PikMyKid. This position involves a variety of tasks, primarily centered around creating digital marketing campaigns and performing market research.

We are a fast-growing company located in Tampa. PikMyKid is a comprehensive school-safety platform; we have schools across the United States and Mexico. We are looking for someone who is innovative, creative and that can engage our varied audience (from superintendents and teachers to parents and children).

Responsibilities

  • Have an in-depth knowledge of the Marketing industry with hands on experience in building and growing communities around a brand.
  • Extensive experience with email marketing, A/B testing, Lead magnet usage, list building, newsletters etc.
  • Experience in the use of Marketo, Zoho, Hootsuite, MailChimp, Sendgrid, Hubspot or other such marketing platforms.
  • Integrated approach with social media campaigns, provide support to social media efforts to target new audiences.
  • Use of company blogs, Syndication of original content with synergistic sites, invite guest bloggers and cross promotion of relevant content to grow the fan base.
  • PR & Media relations is a big part of our overall marketing effort. Should have a good relationship with reporters for timely press releases and also pitch stories to major news publications regularly.

  • Assist with special events to promote company and increase attendance.
  • Identify potential schools, YMCA’s, after-school programs, other services where our system can be offered/used and tailor a targeted approach for lead gen.
  • Collaborates on projects and assignments with the sales team.
  • Brainstorming new social media strategies.
  • Delivery of maintained SEO/Digital Calendar with planned content.
  • Conduct research on community engagement strategies.
  • Work with the Creative Director in creating marketing collateral and brand guidelines.

Requirements

  • Candidate must live in the Tampa Bay area.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or equivalent work experience.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Possess creativity, flexibility, variety, and growth potential.
  • Should be innovative, creative open-minded, a fast learner, enthusiastic, and adaptable.
