Update – July 19, 11:45 PM Back to School with a Big, Beautiful Release: Pikmykid Just Got Smarter

As we gear up for a fresh school year, we’ve officially launched our biggest platform upgrade yet—and the servers are back online, running smoother than ever as of 11:45 PM on July 19!

Just like students sharpen their pencils and refresh their supplies, we’re refreshing our platform to better support your schools, families, and staff. From enhanced performance to smoother workflows and faster communication, this update is all about making your experience more reliable, responsive, and ready for the year ahead.

What’s New in This Release

Here are just a few highlights from our July 2025 upgrade:

  • Dismissal Manager 2.0: Redesigned with faster performance, easier updates, and new filter options to streamline dismissal.

  • Hall Pass Enhancements: Custom templates, in/out-time tracking, and new reports for better visibility and accountability.

  • Emergency & Drill Tools: Faster reunification, improved attendance tracking, and simpler drill planning tools to keep your campus prepared.

  • New Help Center & Live Chat: Find answers fast and get real-time help when you need it.

What’s Happening?

We will be performing scheduled system maintenance on:

Saturday, July 19th-Sunday July 20th
 12:00 AM – 12:00 Midnight (ET)

During this time, the system will be temporarily offline. Our team will be hard at work behind the scenes implementing key updates to ensure everything runs faster and smoother once we’re back online.

  • Boost reliability during peak usage times
