Sales Development Representative
Remote or in Tampa, FL Office
We are an Education Technology company based in Tampa, Florida with great traction and recognition. Our company consists of a group of high-performance driven individuals who are all entrepreneurial in their outlook with a vested interest in our company’s success.
Who You Are
You have been part of a strong sales team as a sales development representative, or an inside sales administrator and you enjoy assisting the sales team in a variety of ways. You enjoy teamwork and learning new technologies. You are a great communicator and can work with many different team members, along with prospective customers. You are confident and determined and enjoy cold calling into prospective clients at all levels in a school and/or school district. You love qualifying opportunities and communicating with prospects through outbound and inbound activities and as a premier multi-tasker, you can prioritize and ensure you have followed through and completed the many different tasks throughout your day. Lastly, you enjoy sharing the value technology can bring to make things easier while enhancing student safety throughout the US and the world.
Responsibilities
- Daily General Tasks: Work to qualify all inbound sales leads. Work closely with the sales team to coordinate product demos, determine prospecting opportunities, conduct research on contacts and sales enablement tools. In addition, conduct outbound outreach and provide follow-up information to prospective schools’ post communication via phone calls and written correspondence. Ensure sales accepted opportunities from your efforts map to company qualified targets, and that our Account Executives have enough opportunities to work to be fully productive. Work within a CRM system and update data in real-time.
- Creative Tasks: Suggest new outbound and inbound efficiencies to better support lead flow. Help develop and send out messaging based on market needs. Develop follow up methods that improve sales team efficiency with unique ideas and tools that help with the sales team’s sales process.
Requirements
- Proven track record of delivering sales pipeline qualified leads
- Partner with account executives and marketing to execute on demand generation
- Able to prioritize, target, follow through on outreach and inbound activities
- Responsible for delivering on sales development process, methodology and campaigns
- Awareness of industry trends and develop messaging that aligns
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills
- Flexible and willing to try new things and have an entrepreneurial mindset
- Willing to learn on your own, share with others and be part of a great team
- Able to work independently and respond quickly

AE West: Enterprise Sales Account Executive (Remote)
Remote Position
The Account Executive will sell Pikmykid software directly to K12 education institutions & School Districts in the Western Region & will report to the VP of Sales. This position requires an experienced enterprise K12 account executive to join our team who has experience working in the edtech market calling into school district C-level stakeholders along with state-wide leaders.
What You’ll Do
- Take “Ownership” of your own territory & success by working independently on what needs to be done for you to succeed in your role
- “Hunt” daily – prospect multiple district C-level leaders across multiple districts daily in states & regions
- Schedule so many meetings in a month w/C-suite & be in the field so many days a month
- Sell Pikmykid to “Net New” K-12 Education prospects at District level
- Research states & district leadership to find state-wide & district leadership stakeholders & get them interested to “open” opportunities from prospecting to closewon.
- Own “Your” Business!
- Territory Plan, prospect, complete discovery call, schedule onsite travel, present face to face meeting, talk the technical back-end & deliverables to large C-level committees and move the district through a long sales process.
- Tailor messaging to lead prospects by product solution
- Seek out multiple stakeholders/buyers within the district & understand & manage a multi-threaded sales approach to “Win.”
- Navigate & sell complex enterprise deals while building deep relationships & partnerships w/each stakeholder decision maker/committee member
- Maintain touch points to customer districts in your region & leverage those relationships to grow “Net New” logos
- Consistently exceed your sales quota quarterly and annually
- Maintain an accurate & clean pipeline to forecast quarterly & annually sales performance
- Maintain accurate records & updated information in Pikmykid’s Salesforce CRM system
- Manage your deals from start to finish & be able to manage all aspects of deal to close
What You’ll Need

Inside Sales Account Executive, Central Region (Remote)

We’re looking to add an inside account executive to manage specified school-based accounts in the Central Region of the US for our team as we move to the next phase of growth as a company.
Who You Are
- Entrepreneurial sales professional with preferably 1+ years experience
- Have a track record of exceeding sales goals and managing your own pipeline
- Background and enthusiasm for EdTech and SaaS companies as a Hunter preferred
- Excellent communicator who can build relationships with key school-level stakeholders and some C-Suite leaders when necessary in the K-12 market
- Driven, gritty, resilient, competitive, personable and empathetic
- Excited about presenting new technology and working for a mission-driven company

Job Responsibilities
- Own and manage revenue growth in your own sales region
- Prospect “new” business – a true “hunter” role

- Manage and grow pipeline to exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
- Work through sales process from qualification to close
- Successfully communicate value proposition throughout sales process
- Deliver a successful technology demonstration
- Timely customer follow-up and data entry in CRM
- Conduct strategy for effective outreach initiative for growth
- Are a “Closer” and ask for the business
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- High performer with a preferable 1+ years of sales experience (SaaS + previous hunter role preferred)
- Executive presentation skills in selling software
- Has worked cross functionally with CS, Support, Product and SDR teams previously
- Has used Salesforce or CRM and other sales enablement tools
- Familiar with “Challenger” sales
- Proficient use of computer software, specifically sales planning, forecasting, and tracking tools, CRMs and Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- 30-50% Travel
