What’s Updated

Dispatcher Guardian Verification

To improve efficiency in the Dispatcher Guardian Verification process, staff members will now have access to all records listed under the Student Contacts page within each student’s profile. Administrators can configure which contact types are visible, improving accuracy and efficiency in the verification process.

Messenger & School Messaging

Schools can add primary and secondary guardian email addresses to a student’s profile if the parent(s) have not yet registered in the parent app. This will allow for schools to use these email addresses to send email notifications through the messenger or school messaging tool. All contacts added to Pikmykid will, by default, be considered as having provided consent to the school or district to receive email communications, unless otherwise indicated in the portal. This includes notifications sent through the Pikmykid Messenger tool, as well as dismissal-related alerts.

Reports & Student Data

Student Tag filters added to the Check-In and Dismissal reports simplify managing specific student groups and improve reporting accuracy.
